Charles L. Duncan Papers

This exhibit consists of the military career of Charles Leonard Duncan, an alumnus of Southeast Missouri State University, who served in the United States Marine Corps as a pilot from 1942-1961. Duncan served in both World War II and in the Korean War, where he completed 54 combat missions before being honorably discharged for his service in 1953.

After returning home, Duncan served in the United States Marine Corps Reserves from 1953-1961, until his retirement as a Major.

This exhibit focuses on portions of his military service, specifically broken down to his time during the Korean War, his aviation career, as well as certificates, awards, and squadron promotion that he received while serving.
